Shades is a unique building design firm that works as a one-stop resource point for its clients in the construction industry. Shades provides a platform of services to builders with specialized and customized designs and efficient on-time implementation of projects. The company executes interior, exterior, and façade work, as well as turn key projects for interiors (specializing in special effects paints and floorings). Established in 2003, Shades has successfully executed landmark projects.

The idea of Shades was conceived and then successfully run by second-generation entrepreneur Dhiraj Chaddwa, who brought his legacy of business acumen, foresight, and experience to the table. Establishing his venture was a natural progression for Chaddwa, whose career began in 1995, working for his family’s business house – Greencard, Evergreen Furniture & Evergreen Developers, a company that has an anchored presence in the construction industry for the past 35 years. While at Evergreen Developers, Chaddwa successfully executed several projects which included residential towers, an IT Park, and a mall.

At the helm of affairs of Shades is Chaddwa’s extensive, on-the-job, and on-the-field experience, which has resulted in a high degree of communication within the team and with the clients, which results in a perfect understanding of the client’s requirements. His insight into market trends and client needs has helped him to build a space that combines pure manpower and state-of-the-art technology to maximize creativity and efficiency.

At the core of Shades, is the team of interior designers, architects, and facade designers – a pool of talent and experience who have been carefully recruited for their creativity, innovativeness, and ingenuity. Top-of-the-line infrastructural support including constantly upgraded technology for design and documentation helps the team to provide maximum utilization of time, energy, and creativity. Accuracy and precision in execution, combined with quality control and on-time delivery of projects have been the focal point of the successful projects completed by the team.
